The Regular Season in Basketball Champions League Asia just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game of round 1 took place in Hiroshima where Japanese Dragonflies beat Indonesian Pelita Jaya 86-69 on Sunday night. American forward Dwayne Evans (201-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Kerry Blackshear Jr. (208-1997, college: Florida) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side American power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pelita Jaya will play next round against strong Gorgan trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Dragonflies will try to continue on its current victory against KCC Egis in Jeonju.
Iranian Gorgan smashed South Korean Egis at home 102-79. American guard Joseph Young (188-1992, college: Oregon) nailed 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winning side and Will Cherry accounted for 28 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Alfonzo McKinnie (202-1992, college: Green Bay) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds for KCC Egis in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Egis will play next round against strong Hiroshima D. trying to get back on the winning streak. Gorgan will try to continue on its current victory against Pelita Jaya at Jakarta.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Chinese Flying Leopards in Yingkou on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Lebanese Al Riyadi 118-75. Elmedin Kikanovic fired 27 points and 9 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) for the winners. Yanyu Liu produced 21 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The most impressive stats of the last round was 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists by Zach Lofton of Al Riyadi.

Iranian Gorgan smashed South Korean Egis at home 102-79. Gorgan dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Egis' 36. Gorgan forced 19 KCC Egis turnovers and outrebounded them 38-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. American guard Joseph Young (188-1992, college: Oregon) nailed 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Will Cherry (185-1991, college: Montana) accounted for 28 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Alfonzo McKinnie (202-1992, college: Green Bay) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively for KCC Egis in the defeat. Four Gorgan and five KCC Egis players scored in double figures.
